This wine has a medium-dark ruby tint to it. The nose has dark fruit, a touch of bell pepper and other herbal scents. Fruit plays large on the palate, and the acidity is refreshing while the tannins are razor sharp. Herbal elements linger on the delightful finish.

n: black cherries, blackberry plum, woody herbs (thyme), black pepper, stone
p: chocolate and a bit of roasted peppers come in. Paprika. Kind of reminds me of goulash or mole or a bit of both.

4/17/23 green pepper as well, but flavors are all integrated well. very enjoyable. This time around had it with pot roast on gnocchi.
