Nice dry wine with strong hints of cherry & chocolate up front. Not too fruity & moderately dry. Great afternoon wine w/ chocolate & fruit.

Sweet nose of black cherry and candy necklaces. Equally sweet taste of candied cherry with an aftertaste of grape Popsicles. A bit too sweet and not bold enough for my liking, but could be a nice choice if you are into sweeter wines.

Nice full bodied wine with a hint of acidity that wasn't too sharp and sweetness lent from black currant, fig and plum

Good, but a little too sweet and jammy for me. Almost tasted more like a CA Pinot than a VA Cab franc.

This is the 2013. We bought it at the winery and it goes fantastically well with spicy Cajun gumbo. thick like a cab franc but light enough that it won't over power your palate and very drinkable.
