Nice nose of dark fruit and plastic. Immediately an excellent taste of dark plum and licorice, with a long lasting, smooth aftertaste of toffee and black cherry. — 7 years ago

Very impressive wine, indeed! Immediately bold and mouthwatering, with a nice spice/tannins. After the initial puckering wears off, there are deep flavors of blueberry and black cherry, followed by an impressively long buttery aftertaste of toffee. All around a great, smooth wine for those who like bold wines. — 8 years ago

Sweet for an Aussie Shiraz. Lot of fruit with a Welches grape juice aftertaste. Not bad, but not my style. — 8 years ago

A very nice wine--subtle nose of sweet dark fruit, maybe cassis and light plum. Taste is kind of sweet at first, followed by a nice buttery aftertaste of butterscotch. All around great Shiraz for the price. — 9 years ago

Solid wine, and for the price a strong value. Washington produces some impressive wines without the panache and price of CA. Nice strong mouthfeel with good tanins, dark chocolate, black cherry and a nice long finish. — 7 years ago

Nose of spicy black cherry icy pops with a hint of fresh rubber tire. Mellow taste with a lot of fruit, but not too sweet. Muted grape and cherry with an aftertaste of new Barbie plastic that disappears quickly. A nice wine, but lacking the bold kick in the nuts I like from a Shiraz. — 8 years ago

Nice nose of dark fruit and fresh Barbie Dolls. Taste is deep, dark and punchy, with limited bite and a nice long aftertaste of black cherry pop tarts. With 16.2% alcohol, this baby packs on the warm and fuzzy after two glasses. For a $15 bottle, I'm a fan. — 9 years ago

I bought it for my father in law because of the name, but it is actually a pretty good wine! Kind of a thin nose of currants and a bit of tobacco. Taste of currant and prune with very little aftertaste, which is a bummer. Not as big and bold as the Aussie Shiraz I usually like. But fun name! — 8 years ago

Nice mouthwatering tart start, followed by semi sweet fruit like a raw cranberry, then the strawberry cheesecake kicks in and the aftertaste lasts forever... and ever. Wow! This is a new favorite — 8 years ago

A nice semi-bold Australian Shiraz. Delicious, but not my favorite Shiraz. Doesn't have the nice long aftertaste of a Shotfire or Ball Buster. — 8 years ago
