Santa Ynez Valley Cabernet Franc

Green peppercorn and graphite w/ ripe red fruit. Pretty texture.

Outstanding with flank steak. Drank the B&M Bequest ( 9.2) prior to it. Bequest slightly more complex than the cab franc .

Beautiful chocolate aftertaste, v smooth. Dinner with E&B

Tried at a Meritage blind tasting, held its own against $ 100 + wines from around the world. Had a bottle with the family with flank steak, beautiful smooth finish, impressed everybody

Very enjoyable to drink. A little green and peppery.

Not my favorite cab franc for the price. Had it alone and also with a ribeye.
