Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Lots of fruit. Not used to this style of wine, as I usually drink European, so hard to comment.

Seems to be past it's prime. Lacking fruit with most of the flavor coming from oak and rough tannins. Drank on 1/11/15

Licorice & lots of black fruit. A bit of funk & tannins. Needs food to temper the cloy finish.

Big bold Cabernet. Smell of leather. Nice mouth feel. Taste of black currant and cassis. Hint of spice.

Early anniversary of an aged Birthday bottle. Definitely improved by decanting.
