Light ruby in color with light intensity. A Nice color.

Fruity nose of raspberries, sour cherries, blueberries, wood, metals, milk chocolate, mocha, mild roasted coffee, eucalyptus, licorice, light vanilla, alcohol and peppercorn.

Medium-bodied with high acidity and long legs.

Sour on the palate, and dry, with blueberries, raspberries, pomegranates, earth, oak, sage, licorice, light vanilla, dark chocolates, coffee, spices and lots of peppercorn.

Medium plus on the finish with medium tannins and tart cherries.

This North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is still very young and unbalanced. Needs a couple of hours to open up, and will be better in 2 to 5 years time.

Some heat at the back of the throat and a light mouthfeel that I did not see coming.

A little disappointing, but I hope it is only a matter of aging.
I Paired it with a burger and fries.

Aged in French oak barrels.

14.9% alcohol by volume.

Good with meat but all and all good wine for the price.

Fruity with a bit of sweetness when it hits the plate that converts nicely into richer notes (e.g. coffee) on the finish.

Pomegranate jelly, savory herbs, too sweet, perhaps to compensate there's not much there
