Les Six Côtes du Rhône Villages Cairanne
Dark ripe fruit. Has a little heat, but not over the top. Pleasant.

Very minerally and soft in the mouth, with loads of very fine-grained tannin and a long, savory finish. Drink over the next 2years.

Jan 28th, 2018Beautiful and rich bodied Côtes du Rhône Village. High in alcohol and not too much body for light dishes of cheese and meat. Enjoyed this wine as a birthday gift from friends on a rainy night. Good company for Asian dishes.

This wine strikes the right notes for a red in summer. Not too sweet. Tannins are in the background. We are having lamb in a French restaurant with Provençal leanings so this wine suits the food.
