Gardenia, ripe pear, dried tangerine and clean candle wax.
I'd hoped that a little more time would continue to benefit this wine, quite nice two years ago, but diminished tonight.
Paired to homemade teriyaki chicken, worked well.

Nose has Gardenia, lime peel, distant white pepper, cut flower stems and honeydew melon.
Palate has ripe-spiced pear, tangerine peel and candle wax; consistent with the 2017 version.
Time still required, revisit 2022-24. Just received this bottle earlier this week!
A solid pairing tonight with Taiwanese Five-Spice Pork; soy sauce, ground pork (Highland Farm, Old Chatham, NY), shallots, garlic, sherry, brown sugar, five-spice powder, rice vinegar over steamed (jasmin) rice.
24 Hour Update: Nose is wickedly floral, palate is the metaphorical expression of eating a Gardenia, wonderful. Score bump 9.0>9.1.

A nice Gewürtz from the FLX. Better Riesling is made under this label, but you should also explore the other offerings at BB.

2022, medium dry. Very much a lush Gewurz. A bit on the sweeter side . Great with Thai. If you are unsure about the grape it’s not for you. But if you love GW you will love this.

Chrysanthemum, lavender, elderflower. You get my drift. Floral in all the right ways. Maybe even a bit of pandan in the nose.
Savory and off dry that gives it a bit of chew. I like this style. It’s fun and flirtatious. Doesn’t take itself too seriously.
