Good color, dark. Ok nose. Some good sweet rose and tar(?), little like a slightly closed Nebbiolo. The palate is inexpressive. A LOT of tannin, sticks long and pretty hard. Was not expecting that. Coats the tongue and leaves a residual bitterness that lasts for 30+ (a long time). Maybe too young? There's a lot of tannin. They seem disjointed though.
Maybe needs time to open. I popped and poured. Def disappointing at this price point.
