This Botham 80 Series 2016 Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon celebrates the memorable year of 1980 for Sir Ian when he scored a century (100 runs) AND took 10 wickets in the same match! Hereโ€™s hoping that was against the Australian team and not NZ ๐Ÿ˜‚#kiwigirl

The Botham 80 Series Cabernet is a deep scarlet red, virtually black colour in the glass. It entices you into the glass with notes of blackcurrants, leather and wood on the nose. While in the kisser itโ€™s full of juicy blackberries and currants with a nice balance of fresh acidity and smooth tannins. This $18 full-bodied red definitely knocks down a few wickets.

Thank you Cellarmasters for spoiling me with a sample of this beauty ๐Ÿ˜˜

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

Quite nice & easy to drink. Black currant coming through and balanced.
