Almond, cherry, dried rose petals, leather... This is nice. There is a barnyard funk think too, which goes away after a while. The palate is very well done with a good acid drive, some nice cherry notes all along, a vivid mouthfeel, some drying tannins in the rear, some savoury touches blossom in the finish along with bright cherry notes and that dried layer. It's a very good effort, one of the best classico I have tasted recently, quite easy going.

This smells like a very young nose with cherry, rose petals, a bit of leather, a bit of coffee too. The palate is fresh, easy going yet a bit structured too. Good acid drive, nice leathery and cherry notes all along, some drying tannins in the rear that are not overwhelming though, before a long, nice finish with cherry and a tiny touch of umami, with a tiny meat juice touch. It's a great example of very well made chianti classico, enjoyable in pop and pour mode.
