The palate shows a mix of marmalade, honeysuckle, and fresh, ripe peaches with hints of white flowers.

A true gem of a Rhône varietal white from Pass Robles. A great example of what can happen when you plant varietals that are suited to the region. Weighty and complex.

Noses like great white Burgundy. Great oak and spice notes, grassy floral spice. Drinks like classic Roussanne, waxy texture, salt water taffy, slightly bitter almond finish. Very interesting, great balance.

This is pretty and floral, with orange blossoms, jasmine, and a distinct pinene note. Very much a warm summer night floral bouquet. Texture is unctuousness but spice and acidity balance. Really nice, much better than my last bottle which was definitely off. Much better at room temperature than chilled.

medium golden yellow, prominent tearing; quince, white peach, pear, white flowers, buttered brioche; stone fruits, mineral notes, waxy mouthfeel; full bodied, good acidity, 14.8% ABV; made from predominantly Roussanne with a touch of Viognier and small amounts of Chardonnay, Clairette Blanche, Genache Blanc, and Marsanne fermented and aged in a combination of concrete tank and new and used French oak barrels, the only white Booker makes, winemakers Eric and Lisa Jensen worked with Justin Smith at Saxum and Stephan Asseo of L’Aventure before starting their own label in 2005; $50

Interesting - really complex - fruit and elegance but seriously wish it had a few more gears

Impromptu meet up at Classic!

Golden color in the glass. Skunky and sulfur notes on the nose, alongside salted popcorn kernels. Toasted lemon. Savory style aromatics. Viscous and round on the palate, with a lot of nutty characteristics. Ripened guava and banana peel finish. One of the better Rhône whites I’ve had. Thanks for sending

Love the blend, lots of Rousanne and Viogner. So floral. Honeysuckle and butterscotch. Great acidity to balance it and light body while packing gorgeous fruit.
