A touch on the austere side but a great age potential and as uprising watermelon on the nose. 100% respectable 100% #cowine go Colorado!

Brick red in color. Smells delicious. Cherry, fresh fruit. Warm earth. High tannins, high acid, high alcohol. Could be a little smoother but overall pretty good. Better than I was expecting for a CO wine. First time trying and bought at Vail farmers market.

Tasting menu sample of local Bookcliff Vineyards Ensemble red from 2018 with special take-home meal. Balanced, delicious Bordeaux blend. Paired perfectly with shortrib entree.

This one introduces the conversation of what you like in a line. In some ways it’s similar to complex and unique French wines, in other ways it taste like a bourbon. Vanilla, cherries, terroir. It opens with time, however is a wee bit harsh and earthy use alcohol. Alcohol forward

Easy drinking red blend. A bit chewy on the back end. Plum and honey.

Pleasing sweet smell, very full flavored of wood and cherry, very intense flavor and drinkable!

A bit thin but a nice follow up to the Jefferson Cup-winning 2010 @Bookcliff Ensemble
