Well done California! When I uncorked the bottle the pungent smell rushed from the bottle and filled the room. But once in the glass, boy did it open up and deliver the nose and the taste to back it up! Great value wine!

Very smooth after decanting for 30 minutes. Really nice finish. Will buy again. Love that it's organic.

Dark ruby in color with medium intensity and a crimson rim.
Fruity On the nose with blueberries, blackberries, vanilla, licorice, sweet cherries and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with nice legs and medium plus acidity.
Tart cherries on the attack, yet fruity on the palate with blueberries, strawberries, red currants, vanilla, licorice, spices and black pepper.
Medium + finish in length with round tannins and spices.
Nice, easy drinking Cabernet, however a bit unbalanced. Not too complex yet interesting enough to drink by itself.
Organic grapes grown in three counties. 72% from Mendocino county, 24% Lake county and 4% Napa county.
13.9% alcohol by volume.
