Wow! This is a punch in your face red. Very bold and leathery. The nose hits you with sour cherry. A deep breath in will set your nose on fire. Acidity is powerful but not overwhelming, at least when you expect a powerful wine. Finish refuses to tamper down and remains as strong as it started. A little almond and dried cranberry mingles with fresh herbs. Perfect for the holiday. The label mascot does NOT lie! RAWR!
