Six months ago, the first bottle of this was a bit fresher and just acidic enough. This bottle was more evolved and the acidity more flat; more typical 2003 richness without much direction. Improved on day 2 and quite enjoyable. Still, I'd say time to drink up on these B-L '03s. #lastbottleblues

A beautiful wine. Such a luscious texture with smells and flavors of rich tropical fruits and apricots. For $15 a bottle, this wine was an absolute steel! A classic example of how noble Mosel Rieslings are quite the bargain.
