Highly potent. Only suitable in small sips or it hits bitterly, and hardly. After getting used to it, I was delicious. The fruits rang true almost like a dessert. Raspberry, black cherry, almost spicy sweet. I preferred the smoother Sangiovese of Mosby.

Enjoyed this wine with eggplant, arancini, tomato basil salad and imported provolone.
