It is always important to praise people who provide quality value products and that also goes for wine. Bogle vineyards winemakers make excellent value wines. This Cabernet is an example of a great wine at a value price. Well done!

Very good everyday cab for $9. This is 2017 vintage.
Very good everyday cab for $9. This is 2017 vintage.
I don’t normally drink California wines but this wine was a gift so I felt I owed the giver to try it. The wine I’m referring to is a 2019 vintage. My first impression is that it tasted like a Merlot which is fine for me. The 2nd taste and on was much better. I could taste some black cherries and grapes. Also, I did not find the percent alcohol on the bottle but I was really feeling the alcohol during my 2nd glass. That was very unusual for me.

Dec 25th, 2020Target. Bear rating 9/10. Not a lot of scent, maybe some black cherry. Taste: a little dry, dark blackberry and cherry, but a little bit of bitterness I like a lot. It’s good.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a good cab, it definitely is smoother and less acidic than a lot of ones I’ve had!
