I am loving this Verdejo but I'm puzzled about why it is so golden. It's not that old, there appears to be no oak or sugar, and it's not tannic (all would darken wine). Also, everyone who has reviewed it has called it straw colored (normal for Verdejo). I guess I don't care that much though - lemon, grass, grapefruit and tartness countered by silky smooth richness. Love it.
