Top Notes For
2001 vintage: Fresh cut grass and plums on the nose. Complex and balanced flavor. Long finish that goes down far too smoothly. So good.

1 person found it helpfulFeb 8th, 2015On the nose, prune and stewed plum, held together with sweet spice. On the tongue, silky and reserved at first, but opening up to reveal a full palette of blackberry and ripe plum. The finish is medium to long, the tannins and acidity are light, and this wine goes down almost too easily.
