100% Godello, average 30 yr vines. Fermented in SS with indigenous yeast and aged on its lees for 6 month. Yellow peach, apricot with orange/grapefruit peel on the nose. Slightly petrol, steel. Under ripe pineapple aftertaste. Round and slightly creamy in the mouth, a bit yeasty and with sour cream taste. M+ acidity. M+ finish. Lots of layers for $20 wine.

Lovely minerals. Clean and honest and harmonious if not overly complex. Great with seafood. 13.5%. Side note: Valdeorras/Godello is for Chablis lovers who don’t want to drink another iffy Chardonnay.

Excellent quality for a $20 bottle. Tense nose with straw, honeysuckle, and some mature white flowers. Has that great godello texture on the palate. Finish is clean and precise, with the middle core of acid continuing for quite a while.
