Although 5 years old it still retains some of the fruit (raising, dried red fruits, red currants) with balsamic aromas of wood becoming more prominent. Some onion peel and musty wood (age?) also detectable on the nose. Tannins are still there though and acidity also remains, albeit weak. Not long on the palate. Good for casual drinking.
