From the small Cariñena DO Navarre- Bodegas San Valero Coop, Particular Chardonnay 2017
Lemon fresh with hints of dried thyme. Medium across the board with slightly higher acidity; palate is void of fruit but wakes you up with a flinty, mineral, lime pith aspect (think hiking up a rocky mountain ridge at dawn and taking in a breath of air). Wouldn’t have know it was barrel fermented. 12.5% abv
