Not much for an old world styled Rioja!?! Definitely made for the American and Asian palate. But overall a good rendition. Dark fruit and dried up cigar tobacco. Little terroir behind the fruit. $15 / 87pts

Much too light for my taste. Niven should be exciting and fruit forward; this was a touch out of sync.
