Initially I was not convinced but it turned out this wine should be served at a much higher temperature than other white wines to appreciate its structure. About 15 C / 59 F works well. I first served it too cold and was not very impressed. Having said that, served at the right temperature, it shows a light/medium body, stone fruit and citrus, backed up by slate like flavours. I am curious to see how it develops over time.

May 22nd, 2019This isn't my favourite grape almost i think this is a very good example. Good nose, white flowers, some lichis, lima, resine. More complex than the generic valdeorras godello. On taste the wine is gliceric, the lima remains... some herbal esence. So good !!
