Reserva Castillo de Almansa Tempranillo Blend

Not typically what we drink but am pleasantly surprised. A dark ruby red with an intense and complex nose of spice, pepper and plums. A blend of Tempranillo, monastrell and granache. Vibrant on the palate with good structure, balanced acidity and firm polished tannins. It is full bodied with a lingering, silky finish. We liked it on its own as well as with a meal.

Easy drinking dinner wine at a good price.

Sweety, softy, unimpressive. Still, reasonable company for a nice lobster dinner.

Great wine to have before a Garth Brooks concert in Edmonton Alberta.
