Horrible fizz on the beginning. Lovely finish. This Rioja went down with a BBQ beer can chicken and roasted peppers. Good meal though.

I guess something was wrong with this bottle, or it was not my style. It had a fair amount of fizz throughout. Fruit juice. Currants. I hoped it would taste more like a classic Rioja Alta. mainly the fizz was off putting.
