Deep Ruby. Subdued notes of raspberry, mineral and earth. Still developing. Sweet fruits on the palate with brambly characters and a caramel note from the oak. Medium finish. A good wine which will develop in the short term.

Liked this a bit more than the Toro I also tasted tonight. Not enamored with the overall style, but it strikes a fair balance between old & new school Rioja.
