Surprised to the upside. PnP. Dark purple color. Nose contained coconut, oak, and cough syrup. Classic Portuguese wine in my mind. Wine was moderately thick with nice blackberry fruit. Medium finish. Good QPR and very little mark up at my local wine shop!

Great with steak! Big fruit and berries but nice spice and tannins to back it up. We had it with pan seared sirloin and used a little to flavour the sauce and it was excellent. Definitely a fantastic value for money wine and something I'd happily chew on again
