Not bad tasting. Drinkable. Very fruit forward. However not worth the price.

Solid! Another great medium-bodied wine from Spain, with Monastrell grapes.

Smooth with a very full mouthfeel. A bit too much cherry.

I think people miss the purpose of this wine when buying it. It may be a fruit forward style of wine, but it shouldn't be confused with a wine not meant for food. It has a fragrant nose of dried violets, dried provencal herbs, and mulled dark berries. The pallet is medium in feel and medium plus in acidity, tart casis fruit, black peppercorn, and a light finish. Pairs well with smoked salmon tartines, or brisket. For a 2009 it has a great balance.
