What it lacks in aroma it more than makes up for on the palate! Superb dark fruits with lush, almost opulent plum characteristics. A tad hot from the alcohol but still within range at 14%. Excellent wine for $16 retail.

Comments seem to indicate a need for more decanting, but it got worse for me as it aerated in a glass. Not sure it's 100%, lot of gritty mouthfeel.
