Vanilla, strawberry, a bit of heat. Not much to say here. The palate is rather easy going with small tangy red fruits, a bit of width, some round and dry tannins that leave a dusty texture, some vanilla and red fruits in the end. It's not great but it's better than the last couple of times I tried.

Mar 27th, 2020Vanilla, and something really odd and not welcoming. The wine has been opened for more than 2 hours so this isn't Brett nor cork. This is disturbing really. The palate is surprisingly OK. Strong acid backbone, red fruits all along, not too much oak in the end. Rather fresh too. But the nose killed my buzz. Really this is not good at all.

Clear, bright medium ruby core with brick rim. Delicate nose of red berries, plum, tobacco, and a hint of oaky vanilla. On the palate, strawberries, red cherries and rhubarb. Tan: M+, Acid: M, Alc: M+, Body: F, Fin: Long, Bal: Good. Very likeable, good value.

Oct 10th, 2018Vanilla, red small berries, quiet nose. The palate is well balanced with red berries again, a well defined acid backbone, a nice texture and some tanins in the end. Finish with red berries. Good not great
