I like this wine. But it needs to be open for about an hour. At first, I was disappointed. It was a little hot and barnyardy. But then the fruit came out, and it was like a delicious cherry vanilla cola.

Dark ripe red cherry nose. Slightly bloody color, full smooth body. Plum, pepper, old leather, chewy. Cherries coming through tannins. Deliciously drinkable. Mushroom and sausage marinara on the stove- simmering- yes to this and a late lazy afternoon..... old and new Jazz and the fire my happy dog curled next to it.
