Overall it’s a wine that needs to sit a bit. After it sitting in decanter it still needed to sit a bit. Very earthy and can taste the mushroom and prune. Very good after it settles down a bit.

Garnet. Leather purse. On the nose and mouth. Plum skin. Purple. Autumn. Pucker. Dust yet a hint of floral. October- yes- it suits. Having with pasta and reddish puttanesca I prepared. Crusty olive loaf with butter. Holds its own.
