Bodegas Alvarez de Toledo
Bierzo Roble Mencía
Nice overall. Good wine for a Friday night. Much improved after a few hours.

Oct 12th, 2016Pretty solid for $10 but not terribly complex. Cherry, vanilla, some spice but not a long finish or a ton of structure. Tastes younger than it is. This will probably decant well and open up after a few hours, but mama's thirsty.

Has a slight acidity, more than anticipated based on the oaked and slightly fruity nose
