Cruz de Piedra Calatayud Garnacha

The wine was off. Somewhere between oxidized and tired and heat damaged (before reaching me, of course!). Difficult to pinpoint unfortunately.

Again, very nice for cheap.

Beautiful nose of red fruit and roses. Juicy but teetering on tart. Very good for a cheapie.

Light flavors

For $10, not a bad vino. Very enjoyable. Probably could use some more time on the shelf

Mild, middle of road Grenache. Not terrible but nothing to write home about

Good garnacha, would buy again, $10 from stew Leonard's.

Found this on the top shelf of our wine rack. It was there for a while so we don't remember buying it but it was quite a treat!

Some my followers asked after some value wines-- under the value hat thus ain't bad, spicy and full of blackberry- nice smell light flow for a Rioja but a defo for a party of young lads... We call this in our house "hose juice"... Not great on day 2 as its a screw top....
