Ripe red berries, oak and lots of it, and damp soil or stone. Opens up nicely! Easy drinking and excellent value.

Intense full bodied red of Malbec and Cab Sauvignon, rich silky plums raspberry, smoky, leathery, but of tannins need lots of time to breathe, and great with spicy dishes.

...drinkable? sort of thin and less than the sum of its parts but not bad per se.

Odd hint of menthol.
