I’m very spoiled with the charbono from Sarah’s, Turley, and T-Vine in CA, but I wanted to try out the Argentine sister grape bonarda. Very similar on the nose but bigger tannins. Same red and black fruit notes, albeit muted. Same level of acidity. Probably too young but the 2014 was nice with red wine beef stew.
