Floral nose and a spice bomb on the palate at the start. By end of dinner it's the opposite experience with a spice bomb of a nose and mellowed mild cocoa with light ricola mountain herbs. Nice and balanced by the end of dinner, but a lackluster finish. This is the reason why Cab Sav is the undisputed king!

Too inky, too heavy, too jammy. Well made, but hard to drink on a warm late summer evening.

Fruits and mint on the nose; rich, spicy, bell pepper flavors. Very smooth and finishes on a spicy note.
