Bodega Norton
Colección Mendoza Malbec
Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.
Fruity nose with blackberries, black currants, plums, smoke, vegetables, light vanilla, fake wood, cloves and spices.
Medium bodied with high acidity.
Fruity on the palate with plums, cherries, strawberries, raspberries, vanilla, vegetables, oak, cloves, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn and spices.
Medium finish with soft tannins, spices and black pepper.
This simple Malbec from Mendoza, Argentina is drinkable now, but needs a little more time in the bottle to calm down. Still unbalanced, spicy and unattractive with a soft mouthfeel. Smells a bit fake on the nose and hot at the back of the throat.
Made with 100% Malbec grapes that were grown at around 3,000 feet elevation.
13% alcohol by volume.
