Medium purple. Medium notes of fig jam, vanilla, dark chocolate, tobacco on the nose. Present tannins, not round, but not exceedingly drying either. The alcohol doesn't really show itself, and that's a good thing. The palate gives dark chocolate again, with ripe blackberries, blueberries, a hint of oak, and tobacco. I would say a really pleasant Malbec. Hits all the right notes of the style, without being too forward in one particular characteristic.
