Nice red. Make sure it's not too cool- improves at room temp. Fairly intense flavors with dry finish. Food wine not just a casual drink

This 3 year old, Malbec, is ready to drink right out of the bottle, now.
This wasn't the case last year on this vintage.

Dark Ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Fruity on the nose with blackberries, plums, cherries, ripen strawberries, light cloves, earth, licorice, oak, light vanilla, vegetables, dark chocolate, black pepper and spices.

Full-bodied with medium acidity and Long Legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, cherries, oak, currants, licorice, cloves, dark chocolate, coffee and green pepper peel.

Medium finish with soft, round tannins and nice acidity on the end.

This Malbec from Mendoza is drinking very well now. Smooth and enjoyable by itself. A Nice everyday wine.

I paired it with Parmesan cheese.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

Ruby in color with a purplish rim.

After one hour in the decanter, Fruity nose with cherries, blackberries, blueberries, vanilla, earth, wood, licorice and some vegetables.

Medium-bodied with high acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, raspberries, blueberries, vanilla, wood, bell pepper and peppercorn.

Nice finish with fine grained tannins and lots of black pepper.

A nicely balanced, yet simple Malbec, good for everyday, by itself or as I paired it with chicken in a zucchini sauce. I liked previous vintages better, though. It might need one more year in the bottle.

3/8/14 — I enjoyed this wine when paired with grilled pork chops and a blackberry guacamole sauce. It was very bright and the blackberry in the guac allowed the fruit flavors in the wine to meld together well with the pork. The wine had a very long finish, close to half a minute.
