Tonight’s wine club gathering was extra special due to the fact that each selection put forward for tasting had a unique and special story behind it; each wine had a “near and dear” element to it that made tasting it all the more enjoyable while the stories surrounding them were told.
Took a little while to open up but once it did there was a fair amount of leather, balsamic, and tar to compliment the delicate notes of dark fruits.

Medium bodied, silky smooth, stewed black fruit, licorice on the finish. Really restored our faith in Argentinian Malbec - this is very well balanced.

A lovely wine. Some gentle spice, balance of fruit. A little heat...overall just slightly better than average, a little pricey for its rating.
