Leather and tobacco on the nose layered over subtle blackberry notes. Palette adds notes of oak treatment, with cedar, vanilla and all-spice. The tannins have aged well and lend an overall supple and elegant complexity to the wine. The wine has aged well--I highly recommend.

Spice and tannin from Tannat (40%) for structure, Merlot (60%) for roundness. For red meat, including lamb. For those times when pure Tannat seems too much. A well made artesanal wine.
