Chewy, plenty of tannins. I’d enjoy it if the fruit were much forward, I can feel the brambly blackberry. This should be a great food wine (is there any other kind?)
We drank only half the bottle tonight, and I’d love to see how it opens up with more air. The potential is there, it’s a ‘17 and should be nearly ready to peak.

Interesting! Better once it opens up, dry, full-bodied, earthy but not too heavy.

Great bottle of Cabernet...I mean Tannat :). Love this grape, full-bodied, low acid jam.

#tannat de respeito! Bem amadeirado e muito equilibrado. Pouca acidez, mas um corpo gigante.

A little lighter mouthfeel, less tannic and expressive than other Tannats in region but very nice nonetheless.
