A nose on a Malbec! Incredible . And delightful.
Jammy plum. Heat. Cinnamon bark on the tannin-y tongue. Tiny hint of tart dark cherries with tobacco smoke on the finish that lingers with more heat than flavor, yet reminds one of the full red goodness. Perfect for big meats. Not for special times because lacks complexity, yet very very nice -- would be great with dark chocolate after dinner or with a steak-frites and mushroom dishes
