Akronte Cabernet Sauvignon

Loving this wine. Still has fruit, coffee notes and well integrated tannins. A last bottle of a case I purchase at Hart Davis Hart 10 years ago. I wish I had held onto the others, because it is at its perfect point, IMO. Sublime! It has been in my wine fridge since purchase...

Cork so stuck that literally, I eventually pulle the top of the bottle off with the cork. First time for everything, and I'm feeling, well, strong.

Don't rely on these ratings ... This is an outstanding Cabernet that would have 95+ if it were not labeled as coming from Le Marche ... In the unlikely event that you can find this, buy as much as you can, 'cos if you don't, I will! Ridiculously underrated, a formidable wine that you can't possibly be disappointed with if you like Cabernet

Really good Italian Cab (with emphasis on ITALIAN). This has an unmistakeable old world lean.
