I'm always impressed with the acidity Michigan Gewürz can pull off. Blustone's is more grapefruit, and biting citrus than candied ginger. The 2014 forgoes the acacia aging and is a treat from this lean vintage.

We tasted this at the Blustone vineyard and it was a favorite from a wine-filled trip. Nice acidity to balance out the fruit and lovely citrus notes. Tastes like summer.

Really nice. Too cold at PnP but as it warmed the gewurz made it self evident. Pear and some baking spices w medium acidity and a nice crisp finish.
