This mini 200ml 2018 Rosé Cuvée bubbles came as a surprise in our sample Rosé Reservation subscription from Cellarmasters (thank you!).

This subscription is for all the Rosé lovers out there. When you sign up you get a delivery of 12 bottles of rosé 3 times a year and each case costs only $156, so approx $13 a bottle - bargain!

At 10.5% this Mt Benson Sparkling Rosé is on the lighter side of things which means it’s perfect for an afternoon treat and exceptionally good for a picnic. Mr Spittoon and I shared the bottle with some homemade cheesy garlic bread recently 👌 As I’m currently breastfeeding 🤱 it means pint-sized bottles like this are perfect to whet the palate.

In the glass it’s a pinky peach colour with gorgeous lsand-like bubbles speeding up from the bottom of the glass. Fresh red berry fruits and citrus sherbet notes entice the nose. While in the mouth it’s super smooth with juicy watermelon, red berry and citrus notes. Super refreshing and darn tasty!

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
