Good acidity for a rousanne with lemon zest, dry honey, quince and pear plus a lovely herbal quality that keeps it well balanced with both depth and finesse. It closes on a long finish with a saline mineral note.

2013,,, Black Sheep Finds, Holus-Bolus Santa Maria Valley, Roussane. A California Roussane. Waxy, stone fruit with an acidic backbone. Good stuff. Paired well with halibut but would sing with a roast chicken.
